Looking forward to seeing this matchup. Was announced by GT AD today. Will be in ATL in 2022 and at the Grove in 2023.

Also announced that GT will be playing one home game Mercedes Benz for the next 5 years in partnership with AMB. Big revenue for GT and recruits will love it. Good branding by GT to partner with AMB.

One home game period in Mercedes or one game per year?

One per year. Notre Dame in 2020 and Clemson in 2021 (although I may have that backwards).

Great moves by GT.
Great oc games for the fans and great move showcasing one home game in the Dome. Recruits will love it but I fear the opposing teams may bring as many or more fans than Tech (ND and Clemson for sure).

These will not feel like home games for them

Well, that's one way for Mississippi U. to get to Atlanta.

They will be different under Collins. Of course if he has success likely won’t be there for this series.

I'd love to play a home and home with Tech. Be dissaponted if if the game here was at MBS and not at Bobby Dodd, though.

They're supposedly tapped out on reserve funds and need the revenue and will also be out numbered by their "guests"
Recruits will be more impressed with ND and Clemson

What the hell kind of offense is GT going to run now? I always thought GT would continue to beat teams they weren't supposed to as long as P. Johnson and the Triple Option were around. What now?

To hear it from Geoff Collins it will be an offense that prepares kids for the NFL. His OC, Dave Patenaude, runs a multiple spread with a prostyle QB. I doubt he will be able to do that this year because of the type of players PJ recruited. It’ll evolve as they get their kids in the program. This year they are trying to make chicken salad out of chicken shite.

Coach Collins is doing a great job branding GT so far. The man doesn’t sleep and finally after being stagnant for years under Johnson, the program is being marketed. Recruits have responded extremely well to embracing Atlanta and GT being Atlanta’s college football team. This partnership is a further solidification of that branding.

GT has had some pretty big recruits on their campus many times the last few weeks.

Kobe Hudson (Auburn commit) will be back on campus Thursday. He had changed all of his twitter stuff to white and gold.

Javon Baker (Bama commit) has been on campus 4-5 times in the last month.

J. Huff (Oklahoma commit) has been crystal balled to GT today by OU’s 247 guy.

Brent Key is a ballin recruiter offering some big dudes from all over.

GT is fun to follow again. Fun having these type of kids on our campus.
