WTF is wrong with our society that this is a thing?

I didn’t think being 32 was supposed to feel this old.

College gameday segment on WVU QB.

His younger brothers are social media “influencers” with 5-8 million followers. Somehow they make money from this.

My local high school had homecoming last night. Among the myriad of future pediatricians and one engineer, Two of the maids wanted to be social media influencers.

Their content drives traffic/clicks for the platforms. So they get a cut of the ad revenue. Pretty sure thats how it works. Not to mention brands who pay them to promote stuff on their instagram

Youtube...specifically. If you can create a channel, post videos and get people to look at them a person could expect to make roughly $1000 a month per 500k views each month. To generate those individual views you'll need to have roughly 100k people subscribed to your channel and make roughly 8-10 videos a month.

There are ways to make money on Instagram and other platforms as well.

If you every watch a video on youtube and skipped the ad video...you basically gave that account a $.01 for taking the 5 seconds to skip the ad. Here is the kicker there are tons of people on Youtube, but they all don't have a monetized channel. Your viewership has to be at a certain level to generate revenue.
