Greatest plays in your school's history that were immediately overshadowed and forgotten?

As the title suggests, I don't think a lot of us know these types of plays for other schools because they were immediately overshadowed by a bigger play - which is the entire point of the thread
4 I can think of for Alabama
- 2006 Super Regional vs North Carolina : Alabama trailed the series 1 game to 0 going into Game 2. North Carolina's Chad Flack hit a 3 run homer in the 8th inning off of Tommy Hunter to take a 5-4 lead before tacking on one more to take a 6-4 lead into the 9th. Alex Avila then hit a 3-run HR to give Alabama a 7-6 lead before Chad Flack hit another HR, his 2nd in 2 innings, this one a 2-run walk off home run off of David Robertson to give North Carolina a 8-7 win and move on to Omaha.
Sidebar - that series had tons of future MLB players.
North Carolina - Andrew Miller, Daniel Bard, Tim Federowicz, Luke Putkonen, Adam Warren, Rob Wooten
Alabama - Tommy Hunter, David Robertson, Alex Avila, Matt Downs, Wade LeBlanc
- 2013 Iron Bowl : Tied at 21 with 10:28 to play in the 4th quarter Alabama is pinned down at it's own 1 yard line. On 1st down AJ McCarron hits Amari Cooper for a 99 yard touchdown pass to give Alabama a 28-21 lead. 9:58 later, Auburn tied the game. 10:28 seconds after that, the Kick 6 happened.
- 2017 National Championship vs Clemson : Alabama was looking for a 2nd national title in a row and trailed Clemson 28-24 late in the 4th quarter. Jalen Hurts scrambles for a 30 yard TD run to take a 31-28 lead with 2 minutes to play. Clemson then comes down the field and scores a TD on the last offensive play of the game to win.
- 2021 NCAA Tournament vs UCLA : Alabama trails by 3 to UCLA with 4 seconds left. Alex Reese makes a 30 footer as time expires to send the game to overtime. UCLA dominates overtime and wins going away.
Another one off the top of my head was Georgia/Tennessee from 2016. Eason to Ridley to take the lead and then just a few seconds later Dobbs to Jennings on the Hail Mary to win it.

Danny Etling game winning TD against Auburn in 2016

Our 4th down "stop" Vs. eventual national champion Colorado in 1990 when they clocked it to end the game, or so we thought...

Well, George Teague returned a interception for a touchdown in the Sugar Bowl vs Miami. No one even remembers him doing that against a Heisman winning QB, because it's the same game of The Strip.
Does that count?

Jesus. How much time do you have? We are the undisputed kings of great moments overshadowed by falling short at the end

9-6
Seriously, the best example I can ever remember of this in sports is the Kentucky shot before the Laettner shot.

Tennessee vs Georgia 2013...In Overtime...only 2nd down...Pig Howard stretches out to try to score...fumbles into the endzone. Georgia gets zero yards on 3 plays...kicks the field goal and wins.
The curse of the Smokey Grey Uniform becomes legend.

Tre Mason had that Amazing TD run in the NCG where he ran 2 guys over for the go ahead TD with like 1 min left and Barn still lost

Or North Carolina’s game tying shot before Villanovas walk off

The Aaron Murray td before the Prayer at Jordan Hare
And AJ Greens td in the last minute where he drew a bullshite celebration penalty that gave LSU a short field to win.

-Maybe not 1 specific play but 2016 Ole Miss, on a 2 game win-streak over Alabama, opened up a 24-3 lead on Bama in Oxford. Place was going buckwild. Bama responded with a 45-6 run in under 2 quarters of gametime
(Bonkers game really. As Ole Miss would score 2 touchdowns in like 15 seconds to cut it to one score with 3 minutes left)
-2012 Bama-Texas AM. Down 29-24 late in the 4th, AJ McCarron throws a deep ball to Kenny Bell. From the opposite endzone, it looks like a touchdown and the monster comeback is complete. We quickly realize that Bell caught it diving/falling at the 4 yard line. Texas AM would force a goal line stand and win the game

Sean Woods hitting the game winner in 1992 v Duke. Only to see that cocksucker Christian Laettner turn around on an inbounds and nail "the shot."
No one is going to be able to top that one ITT.

Not quite the same as others listed, but I'd argue The Prayer and Kick Six. Sure, they are famous now, but AU's inability to close the game and win the NC made them null. If AU wins, these 2 plays go down in history with much more gravitas.

Corby Jones to Eddie Brooks for the 38-31 lead with 4:38 left to play................and then the flea kicker play happened.

Disagree. The Kick 6 will always be a great moment in Auburn football history - as well it should be. A final, crazy, improbable moment like that for all the marbles against your biggest rival (who are on their way to a threepeat without Auburn's miracle) can't ever be diminished. Just an awesome moment that should live forever.

I remember it all. I don't think that's a forgotten play. Dude high stepped into the end-zone.

That was a runner in the lane by Sean Woods, who is currently the head coach at Southern University in Baton Rouge.

Wasn't so sure about Bama's chances in OT, even without that play.
