It was awesome and that wasn't even the play of the game...

all of these are fighting for 3rd place behind landry's two arkansas catches. greatest ever at any level of football. yes even better than beckham's pro catch.

and that jared foster catch at a&m is probably the greatest catch of any sport ever. dude went airborne

Landry and OBJ made some crazy catches that year.

All for nothing.

As a college football fan, there are a few plays that are so spectacular you never forget them and this is one of them.

Also, I remember a Kentucky WR having a great TD catch against Mississippi State

Its the second one in this video. Dicky Lyons Jr. in as he's falling out of the endzone.

Jabar Gaffney TD catch vs. Tennessee. One of my faves.

Odell beckham Jr's one handed kickoff catch at uga in 2012. I've never seen anybody do that before or since. It was amazing. He literally caught a kickoff one handed over his head in the back of the endzone just to show off pretty much...he was almost out of the end zone and had no intentions of running it out. I don't have a link but if you can find the 2012 lsu uga game it happened. I couldn't believe it.

My bad, apparently I wasn't the only person that was like wtf?! I mean who does shite like that? It just shouldn't be possible, yet he made it look so routine bc it was for him and jarvis.

He doesn't have the hands that odell or jarvis possess. I like jefferey, but he doesn't have their hands.

OP did not specify that it had to be a pass...

That catch is a whole lot harder to make than any of the others shown.

You can't be serious? Tipping a football over your head is harder to do than both of Jarvis Landry's catches? Get real guy.

Technically it wasn't a catch but at the time, it was an incredibly clutch catch...sticking the landing without letting the ball move at all was the hardest part. Well, never mind. Btw, htf do you post a gif from your phone??

Some great plays posted so far. I have nothing to add to the conversation except it would be interesting to apply the current NFL catch rules to some of these posted. I'm betting more than 50% would have been overturned.

Another reason CFB > NFL

Damn. Never seen that before. Watching it for the first time, I was like.. alright wheres this catch... and I thought OBJ waived his arm for a fair catch. Then the announcer was like "WoW, what a catch!" and I was like, wait.. The catch already happened? Had to watch the reply, Caught me off guard even tho I knew an awesome catch was coming..
