After having some time to digest everything, that was one of the greatest football games I have ever seen in my life. Both teams had opportunities to put the game away both before and during OT. Yall's run defense is the real deal. Jimbo came into the SEC and did exactly what he needed to do to make yall a contender, strong rush D and a good running game.

Although some calls were questionable, you have to play through that. Most were 50/50 calls that could have gone either way. Luck was on the Aggies side on Saturday, which can make all the difference in a 7 OT game.

I am very proud of how Burrow played and my hat goes off to Mond. Both QB's lead their teams and made the big plays when they were needed. Both teams left it all on the field and yall edged it out this year.

Although its a forced rivalry, the emotions of this game certainly made it feel more like a rivalry than any other game this year. I wish the Tigers would have ended up with the W, but damn that game was fun to watch. 5 Hours of football... Good Lord I almost ran out of bourbon. What a game.

Good luck in whatever bowl game yall go to. Can't wait to see you weirdos get beat in Death Valley next year.

If my son could grow up to be 1/2 the player that Burrow is it would be awesome.

Both teams refused to lose. Both teams made incredible plays. That is a game to be proud of, win or lose. That was the ultimate gut check.

The west will eventually be decided by the winner of that game.

Well said!
I never liked tie games; but if ever there was a game that was evenly matched, Saturday’s was it.
You’re a credit to your university.

no question the aggies payed hard, wouldn't quit, and they had nothing to do with the really bad officiating.

still, if my team had won like that I wouldn't be able to enjoy the win.

one really bad call, maybe even two, and those are the breaks of the game. you can't take the human element out. but it got ridiculous.

Awwww come on, a close game like this ....an epic game is what makes college football the best. Bitching after a close loss like this adds spice to the rivalry. If we did not have Bama sucking the life out of the SEC as a whole games like this would mean something as it applies to SEC championship ramifications. Great game, kept me interested, lot of excitement

I will go back to the conspiracy theories later

I would trade Mond for Burrow any day of the week. Mond is still as lost as can be.....

Outstanding post!

Outstanding game by both squads!

I was impressed with Burrow for sure; if he would go ahead and change his name on his jersey to "Burreaux" he would instantly become my favorite non-Aggie player.

That Alamo Aggie is nails in OT, though.

Must’ve been hard not enjoying your win in 2014.

I wouldn't trade burrow for Mond either. Burrow has a confidence and swagger that is contagious to the whole team when coming from the quarterback position.

To be fair, Mond is still a sophomore. Jimbo is known for developing quarterbacks. His stat line shows he wasn't very accurate and he did make some bone headed plays, but your receivers had alot of dropped balls in key situations that were well thrown. The way I see it is anyone that can play quarterback through 5 hours of football and pull out a win, prove's he can be trusted as a leader. I think with games like Saturday under his belt and Jimbo's rep for development, he will only improve. Idk how many players yall will lose on the O-line, but assuming yall keep most and Williams comes back, yall will be putting a strong offense on the field next year.
