I think we have to win 2/3 this weekend and win at least one in the SEC tourney. However, I don't think we will win the series this weekend, so no, we will not be hosting.

If MSU loses this weekend they will have 4 series wins and 7 series losses over the course of their last 11 weekends... You will not host with a blackeye like that on your resume. Throw the whole RPI and SOS out the window... Win 2 this weekend and win game 1 in Hoover and you're hosting... Anything short of that and your dilapidated stadium's regional hosting drought will continue on... Good luck Dawgs.

I guarendamntee if we had UGA and Mizzou instead of Vandy and South Carolina we'd have more series wins.

Our guys are Jacked about this weekends series and know the importance of it. If we lose 2 of 3 we don't deserve to host.

I'm sure they were jacked about last weekend's series too but that didn't stop the better team from taking 2/3 from them.

Last weekend wasn't at home and it wasn't sr's last weekend and we didn't have experts saying it was a must win like this weekend.

Funny, but you lost that series too.
You can try to message board rationalize all you want but the fact remains that you have lost a lot of series. You have a tough schedule and a high RPI but that means dick if you lose this weekend and don't do much in the SECT.
Would it be nice if we hosted? Yea, but I don't think we will. DVH rests arms for the SECT and even though I'm confident about us in any regional we don't have an awesome resume. I think we'll be the #2 seed in a regional that the fans of the #1 seed will be very, very pissed off about.

Bundy did say earlier in the thread that we have to win this weekend to host. Because WAMSU, we will lose two out of three, then tire out all our pitching only to lose in the final of the SECt and then lose in the final of the regional we go to.
