It doesn’t appear as though the universities in the state are talking to the political leaders.

But notice the idiot didn't mention basketball. So there is a limit to his insanity and wish to SAVE LIVES! LOL! A vote for a democrat is a vote for insanity. And if you define yourself as a democrat you are insane unless your and your families income depends on it.

Nice headline. He said no packed stadium without a vaccine. I don’t think any school or governor have committed to having stadiums filled as normal next year

Then what happens when many of us won’t actually take the vaccine? Wait longer? Postpone until 2030?

The governorship has given these people entirely too much ego.

I’m not a conspiracy theorist and I refuse to believe this all started as Plandemic or whatever the hell is out there, but there is ZERO doubt in my mind that it has been politicized well beyond safety measures. There are bad actors involved and they are pushing their luck. Going from a “brief lockdown to flatten the curve” to “until we can cure all illnesses and disease and everyone shits gold bars no one gets to leave a 3 x 3 square in his bedroom” is unacceptable. And the a-hole enablers of this crap can drop the “grandma killer” garbage and tell grandma to stay home. Some guy who wants to pick up a 2 can dine special at Popeyes isn’t a murderer and screw you if you’re one of the ones saying he is. Something is going to go down and it’s probably going to start in Michigan.

He hasn’t said that though the only thing I’ve heard him say about college football is that he things it’ll be unlikely that 60000 will be able to get together in September.

Exactly! Too many people think the vaccine is the end all.

Are you taking the vaccine that’s brand new and was rushed through the process?

Pregnant mothers won’t take the vaccine. And probably women planning to get pregnant. And then there are those that don’t take vaccines for themselves or their children...the anti-vaxxers.

Listen, I did not vote for “we’re in this together...we will get through this together” bullshite. But the gov never said that...he said if there are ways to treat the virus, he could see sports being played in the state. He is not stupid, he knows it would be a losing battle if he does not allow sports to be played in Kentucky.

Oh, good grief:

quote:

Jones asked Beshear about UK football this fall, acknowledging that Beshear will not make the final decision on whether it will happen. The Southeastern Conference and colleges will determine that. SEC Commissioner Greg Sankey recently said the conference is proceeding as if football and other fall college sports will be played on schedule.

Beshear will defer to the SEC.

A vaccine is going to take months to distribute. Is this their way of saying no while leaving the public some hope?
