They weren’t scared to play Norte Dame, even without Lawrence and others.
Takes someone without a yellow streak I guess. Good job Dabo.

Having at least 53 scholarship players available tends to help matters too.

Agreed. They were missing a lot of defensive players as well. No whining.
Most Tiger fans realize they're likely to get a rematch with ND.

They are still living off their reputation. They just aren't that good and haven't been in a while. The media blows them, but everyone else knows they aren't CFP worthy.

This isn't even true.
They had three defensive players missing this game due to injury at kickoff.
Most of their defensive losses happened during the game.

The DC for the Irish had a great plan with his DL and Clemson couldn't block them well enough to spring #9 for his normal yardage.
ND is a good football team. It is OK to give the other fella credit when they deserve.

Never give a team credit with a mascot that looks like this.

Yeah like a self-described liar and quitter who took what he thought was the easy way out because in the NFL "you were penalized for success"? Say what you will about Belichick being a monomaniac like Saban, at least he has some chest

Day 369 of The Great Gump Butthurt of 2019/2020.
We hated to see it.

We were good enough to win the game and just didn't get the job done. IMO, the most critical play was in OT when we had the lead and ND got hit for a hold call that probably would have allowed us to win the game IF on the very same play we didn't get hit for a personal foul on a stupid late hit.

OP and the other poster are trying to equate this to LSU having 30 players out on an already depleted roster.

Most Alabama fans know it was a fluke, LSU was bound to win another game against Alabama eventually. Just like LSU will finally win that 10th game against Alabama in Baton Rouge eventually (and they have played home and home for the last 50 years, so what is that, 25 chances so far)

Sure if that's what you want to think. IRL LSU was usually the only team in the Wes that was in the same neighborhood as Bama in the talent-wise but was saddled with a buffoon of a coach who insisted on running an offense that might as well have been the wing-T. IF LSU had hired almost any coach other Miles, we would've had at least as much success as Bamuh from 2008-2018. Yall should build a statue of Less alongside the Sabanic idol

This has gone from melt to downright PATHETIC! Seriously, it’s just sad at this point.
