can we all agree that if Jimbo wins 10 games this year, despite playing 4 top ten teams, we'll stop these threads?

Absolutely. I will agree right now that if aggy wins 10 wins this season that I will no longer make fun of aggy.
However, if and (most assuredly) when aggy fails to reach 10 wins, you and your brethren (cslobotomy, sarge, Kaiser, cardboardbox, and westcoastag) must publically apologize for being such goonish embarrassments to our state.

texag7/Daniel can stay on regardless for the lols.

You have no authority whatsoever to compel compliance with such a stupid demand.

Taggart was a terrible hire. I was shocked when they announced him as head coach. Way more shocked than CEO being hired at LSU, which at least made sense in terms of culture and continuity.

Just go suck cock if you want to suck cock. It's 2019, you don't need to make up a bet/dare excuse.

First FSU coach in 40 years to leave with a losing record.......had to reschedule a cupcake game with an interm coach to get to a bowl game....

FSU pussed out on joining the SEC years ago for a reason......

Throughout those last several years, Jimbo dealt with about the worst possible public divorce anyone could go through.

Not a complete excuse as he was still being paid a ton to do a job, but I think it would affect most people’s work. Throughout it all FSU still recruited really well, so talent shouldn’t have been a problem for Taggart.

I do think Jimbo remained loyal to several bad coaches for too long, however.

The only coaches that "left Florida State with a losing record" each coached there fewer than 4 seasons apiece.

Fisher left with an 83-29 record over 8 seasons, averaging greater than 10 wins/season.

Bobby Bowden left with a 304-97-4 record over 34 seasons, averaging just under 9 wins/season.

This is a farce. Jimbo recruited like Chiz. He recruited stars but not position need. Chiz, like Jimbo, had high NSD rankings but there were holes all over the field.

A HCIW is not a HC of any kind and the big decisions in the end still came to Bowden.

Jimbo was in charge of recruiting and had full control of the offense. Mickey Andrews had full control of the defense, as he had for 20 years. Bobby was making personnel decisions only, and I'd wager the AD had a substantial role there as well.

We are talking about a coach who truly wasn't aware of every player on his roster. He was an 80 year old man. What "big decisions" do you think he was making?

All BS. Jimbo will have A&M a contender and that sucks as an LSU fan.

LSU fans are just salty because they wanted Jimbo and he dissed them, then he ends up going to A&M and giving them their first win over LSU since they came to the SEC.

Wrong, I never wanted him. The guy drove a Ferrari (Florida state) off of a cliff. It’ll take Florida state years to come back from that.
