BaseVOLS improve to 38-17 on the year. Probably still need to do more work as Indiana State’s 12-7 MVC record puts them higher than tennessee.

We might be the worst team in the SEC right now

When The BaseVOLS get on base, they have some really FastVOLS on the hit and run

I’m actually impressed with Tennessee. They turned that program around in one season. I guess it’s kind of hard to argue with that success.

Ole Miss has talent. It’s beyond me what is happening late unless they have lost confidence and are pressing way too hard. Despite what I know is coming (“Bianco needs to go”) it’s not him. I think the team is pressing too hard imstead of relaxing and just playing the game.

I think a lot of our kids might be more interested in their draft stock than team success. We potentially had issues with that last year, but in general I’m not sure if both coach and team haven’t stacked the bats at this point. What an utter disappointment

Well, you have post season and we’ve all seen teams in a funk feel like they have a new start come post season so you just never know. Having said that, a win tomorrow before the conf tourney might be what the doctor ordered.

when we lose tomorrow, and then lose game 1 in Hoover, then maybe we wont make a regional where we can extend the losing streak by 2 more games...this is my wish. did you guys see the double play we managed to make tonight just with our base running? or how bout sending zabowski home from 1st base on a single and the ball got to the catcher at the plate while zabo was about 30 feet from home...we are really really bad, the team has checked out, and maybe the coaches have too

Y'all are my pick to win it all this year and bring the championship back to the SEC west. Good luck. I think we checked out after LSU that Sunday 2 weeks ago. All my in laws went to State and are crazy nuts State fans. It is a proper rivalry we have inter-family, the way it should be and is with us.

Gotta give Vitello credit here, this team is completely different from those of the last 13 years. To turn a program like Tennessee around, where there is very little fan interest and very little investment from the athletic department, in a conference as loaded as the SEC, is nothing short of miraculous.

The crowd at our last 2 games has been exponentially better than the rest of season. If baseball starts getting fan support in Knoxville, Vitello could do big things here, as long as he doesn't get poached by Arkansas or Mizzou first.

Thankfully neither Van Horn or Bieser are going anywhere anytime soon
