Miss St getting rewarded for mediocre SEC season would be a tragedy.
What about the fact we played the toughest SEC schedule of any team not playing UT, UGA, and Mizzou

We have to beat Oral Roberts and take 2 from USC. That gets us to 40 wins and a 16-14 conference record with a top 10 RPI and top 10 SOS. Hard for a committee to ignore that for a host spot

Which would make their 3rd time to receive an SEC Sweep..

Do they take into consideration Home Attendance/Quality of Facilities?

8 of them came from cellar dwellers UGA, Tennessee, and Mizzou
A side note on MSU's 14 SEC wins ...

Ark x 1 (SC swept by Arkie at home) - injury span
UF x 2 (SC swept by UF in Gainesville) - injury span
aTm West cellar dwellar) x 3 (SC swpt aTm at home)
Auburn (West cellar dweller) x 2 at home (SC DNP)
Vandy x 0 at home (SC lost 2 to Vandy at home)
Bama (West Cellar Dwellar) x 3 at home (SC DNP)
Ole Miss x 1 @ Ole Miss (SC DNP)
So eight (8) of your fricking 14 SEC wins came from SEC West cellar dwellars. I hate a fricking hypocrite worse than anything.
How 'bouts we play-it-out at your place and not talk too much shite beforehand? Because, honestly, looking at your wins vs ours, you've not got a whole lotta room to talk shite.
It'll be settled this coming weekend soon enough at your place.

LSU was 36-20 (14-16) going into the SEC tourney that year. Won 4 games to win the SEC tourney. 40-20. I feel Mississippi State will have more wins and fewer losses after the SEC Tourney

If Auburn, A&M or Bama was in the east they'd all be in 3rd or 4th place. Terrible comparison.
Tenn, Mizzou, and UGA have a combined 20 SEC wins
Auburn, A&M, and Alabama have a combined 35 SEC wins

Has Mississippi State won a series against anyone who will play in a regional? Sincere question.
Yes
Florida
Auburn
Alabama
Oh wow, stellar résumé.

Does A&M get to a regional?

I think the SEC ends up getting 9 bids, 5 hosts and 2 national seeds. USCe, Arky, MSU getting matched up with the 3 ACC national seeds for the supers.
UNC/MSU
NCST/USCe
UVA/Arky
I think you are the closest before I post mine.
IMHO
UNC/MSU
NC St/Ark
Virginia/SCAR
They like sending us to Virginia for some reason, and we like winning up there.
But I think the SEC gets eight seeds, but only three Regional sites and two Super Regional Sites.
Super Regionals
Vandy
LSU
Regionals
SCAR
Arkansas
MSU
Seeds (some of this depends on the tourney)
Florida
Ole Miss
On the bubble:
Bama (they'll be sent west or either to the midwest)
Kentucky (if they make it they'll be sent out west)
Auburn (if they make it they'll be sent out west, probably northwest)

Seems like A&M would need to win it's last series (maybe need a sweep) and make it to the finals of the SEC tournament to have any shot.

Locks: LSU/Vandy
Likely: Arkansas/South Carolina
Needs work: Ole Miss/State
Ole Miss: needs to sweep series against LSU
State: lost 6/10 series since starting 17-0, including series losses to UCA, Kentucky. Best win is over sub .500 in SEC play Florida. 3-6 against top 3 teams in West. 2-7 against top 3 SEC teams overall.

point was that LSU had done plenty to make it into the tourney that year, but was snubbed by the committee.
Don't want to leave it in their hands is all im saying

The SEC mite get 4 hosts for regional play, but will more than likely get only 2 for national seeds. The ACC & the Pac 12 will probably get 3 & 2 respectfully, so with Vandy & LSU locking up 2 more the numbers are not favorable to another SEC team. But I will be curious to see if the committee loads up one bracket with seveal teams from the ACC,like they always do now with SEC teams, to keep it from dominating the CWS.

It seems most people think....LSU, Vandy, Arkansas, South Carolina.
Outside shot, need sweep weekends: Ole Miss, State
