UGA still has loads of talent but its young and underperforming at the same time on prior UGA defenses career...there are flashes of brilliance but for 2 seasons now getting home, which is more scheme than talent when talent is there, has not happened often and pressure that existed last season has been non existent this season. There is certainly a drop off, there was always going to be a dropoff in talent from 2021 and 2022....but at the 8th game of the season its unlikely they turn it around and have not been good at times this season and were not good at times last season.

There is one but he is busy with other things like figuring out how to call a time out and not call one in the same breath.....Kirby is a HC and one of the best in the country and may prove to be one of the best ever but to be a HC coordinators have to be competent, which Schumann is...but he is proving to be just that and nothing more.

I suspect he will if Boom is willing. Muschamp is at least as good as Schumann and probably has a better working relationship with Smart and Bobo if only slightly better. I can't imagine with the first half defensive performance against teams with a pulse at all that Smart is overly satisfied with Schumann at the moment.

What's the hype with Schumanm. Georgia's defense has gotten worse with him. It was better under Muschamp and whoever the guy was right before that.
