Per sources. Get your bets in while you can. Lol at Florida thinking they had a shot at Kiffin

It was never Kiffin to Florida. It's always been Kiffin to Tenner after Josh leaves to LSU.

Would be a smart move for Florida. Schumann has learned the ropes from Kirby.

Don't put that on Kirby Smart....Schumann has had the opportunity to learn the ropes from Kirby but he has regressed in the last couple of years as a coach. UGAs defense has not been elite at least last season and this season and while talent is certainly part of it there is the responsibility of a coordinator to come up with ways to mitigate weaknesses. To Schumann's credit he has managed to make second half adjustments and they have looked better but there is also a talent and depth advantage to that....

UGAs defense has not been able to get home on a QB in 2 seasons now and are now incapable of getting opposing teams off the field on third down.

Don't y'all have another defensive coach on that staff who is really involved with the defense? Maybe one who won multiple nattys as a DC?

I love when you morons validate how dumb you are. You dummy’s never learn.

LSU is so poor. The Rant has been telling me this for years.
1) can’t afford to buy out Miles
2) can’t afford to buy out Orgeron
3) don’t forget about all those assistants
4) never be able to buyout Kelly . They are stuck with him
5) Can’t afford to pay top dollar for a new coach

I love this place !!!

How about actually hiring a coach that you will want to stick around for awhile. Buyouts maybe aren’t the problem but they aren’t the solution either

But hasn't Georgia lost a lot of stud talent on d ? I mean do you think it had an effect when Joe, Chase and Jefferson along with a solid o line left LSU ? Having studs at every position makes coaches look better.

I know that this will come as a shocker to you and everyone that posts here but the point that I laid out so that a 5 year old could comprehend it flew right over your head.
The point I’m making and that Rebel5 retard confirmed is that this place never learns in regards to the LSU football program and money. LSU football will always have the funds .

Im laughing too.

So, he isn't the only one.

Worry is a waste of time and isn't fun.

I'd rather laugh at LSU.

Not really - sadly, Kirby's said multiple times that he is more of a CEO coach these days. He says he spends so much time on fundraising & donors events that there's not as much time to do the actual gameplanning, so it falls on the coordinators & position coaches.

To your point though, that's on him as head coach. I think Occam's Razor would suggest Kirby has taken it a LITTLE easier since 2022. As we get further from the natty years, it's starting to get to where you can't just explain it away or say "but we just won a natty everything is fine hyuck hyuck"

Thank you for mentioning that. It’s exactly why I was thinking it could help everyone involved.

I try to take off my biased fan hat during these discussions. Sometimes I still fail. But I also acknowledge that Schumann hasn’t had the best defensive pieces to work with. And the portal exits without sufficient backfill have not been helpful. But I still think Georgia can do better, and maybe Schumann is a good HC in waiting.

Are you referring to Muschamp? He hasn't really been part of the team this year. Focused on his family.

However, if this rumor is true, Kirby should bring his arse back asap.
