I would almost think that playing that much tougher SEC schedule would better prepare teams for the playoff. Because I can't imagine 18-22 year old kids still being tired when it comes time for their next game.

the irony of typing this in a thread that's referencing a playoff game from last year is just dripping...

It's not so much the fatigue as it is time for players to heal from injury. Fatigue can be handled by hard work and recruiting like a top level program. You have a bunch of injuries occur, and you're sitting there with great starting units and no depth. This should be apparent to everyone, this is what separates the great teams from the good. Playing a less difficult schedule not only gives you easy wins, but you have little chance of losing any depth. That is why it is deemed a softer schedule.

Its so sad what the Rant has become. A shell of its former self. What has become of us? Where are the Snowdens of yesteryear?

If they put their back-up qb in lookout. That's all it takes to beat you guys.

Detect a certain element of fear in the
air. Settle down, it will be o-k, Notre Dame
is always overrated and you're playing them
at home. It will be at least a 2-touchdown win.

I edited it to include UGA's failure to beat a bad B12 team.

Its true but Bama doesn't like to talk about this when they and others say ND shouldn't be in the playoffs
