Georgia wins the championship this year if...

I'll go on record to say that if:
1) JT Daniels stays healthy
2) Jordan Davis stays healthy
3) Georgia sports aren't really and truly supernaturally cursed
they win it all this year. Basically if we get our dudes back and avoid major injuries, we have absolutely no excuse. I'm generally pretty pessimistic and hate hope but this looks different.
Of course, this could just be the cosmos finding new ways to make me hope just to break my heart, and maybe 1980 goes on for another thousand years! Maybe I'm wrong and Ark blows us out at home next week! Who knows!

JT doesn’t get hurt and someone stepping up at LT so we can rearrange and move the current one inside. Our RG has been worked over at times and good teams will exploit that weakness terribly. Really that’s it other than getting out of our own way.

The OL and run game is the biggest concern IMO. But pass protection has been good so far.
Number 2 concern is secondary, of course - I'm hoping Tykee Smith coming back will make a difference.
Either way, I think our DL, LB, QB, and TE play have been pretty next-level - maybe enough to compensate for the weaknesses.

I'm just saying I think Georgia has enough talent that it's out of excuses. I guess this is what people have been saying all offseason.

Georgia is going to win a natty eventually. They’re recruiting at too high of a level and Smart’s staff has been competent and consistent. I think the boosters just got to keep faith and not turn on the program. They’re operating in the thin margins between great and legendary.
The Atlanta sports curse is overrated. Almost all examples come down to roster build problems on the pro teams and running into legendary teams in college.

This one is Georgia's to lose. Bama looks great but still not the Bama team of last year and year's past. No reason Georgia shouldn't win out.

As a Braves fan I can say this is specifically tied to the refusal to spend money. You have to have Aces during the playoffs. The Braves refuse to trade for and/or sign top starting pitching
