This was kind of surprising. I think Auburn is much more vulnerable on the ground than through the air; Kentucky refused to stick with it. Go Dawgs

On designed carries, Georgia faired much better heading leftward vs the Hogs. But over half of their runs went for 3 yards or less and the Bulldogs averaged less than 2 rush yards before contact on average. Zamir White led the way in broken tackles with 4

It's a concern this early in the season. Run blocking always seems to take a little longer to come together.

I think there's probably some adjustments taking place as a result of having a new OL coach as well, particularly with spring ball being a no-go.

We pushed them around in the second.

I doubt we showed any true power packages. Had a series under center.

Uhhh you benched your Quarterback in the first quarter/beginning of the second quarter in full blown panic mode.

Don't think you guys were saving plays.

The main reason we struggled was because Dwan couldn’t complete a pass. Once Stetson started hitting passes Arkansas stopped stacking the box.

RB yards per carry
Before Stetson’s first possession: 2.4 YPC
After Stetson’s first possession: 6.3 YPC

Ole miss scored at will against your d in the first half.

Game is 4;qtrs.

Gave Mathis a shot but I would guess bennett who immediately put the offense in over drive will start and our original plan b, Daniels, will come in.

Just remember all our QBs were good enough to start in high school.

Don't think so. Thinking we're gonna line up and bust some heads down to the white meat this week!

We don't have depth is the reason they had more in the second half

Schematically, you couldn't stack the box once stetson started completing passes .

My wife even noticed the box clear out and your safeties backing out

How could she do that if she was busy making sandwiches in the kitchen?

Such an overlooked point. For teams w a strong 2 deep, lack of exhaustion and better talent will show UGA's deficiencies. The East is wide open this season.

Georgia fans are literally the only fans who think:

"Yeah, we started out coaching them. We were just playing 6d chess."

Vs. the actual reasoning:

"Arkansas is a very thin team who almost has as many 4-stars as Georgia has 5-stars and when they couldn't make first downs consistently, they eventually wore down and couldn't play as they did in the first half. They were tired."

Your wife probably knows about as much about football as you do.

We needed a 4 minute stretch of game clock to blow them out....

The result of the first half has determined that to be a lie.

Obviously you needed a lot more than 4 minutes.

If you knew half as much about Florida as you think you do about Georgia you would be the Florida coach. You are 10 times smarter than Mulllen.

A little. Not sure if it’s because they stacked the box against an inexperienced QB or the line didn’t get any push. Guessing we’ll find out Saturday.
