I think the SC game will be close, but UGA will win it late.

They'll lose one game in the regular season, and I have a feeling it will come to an "unusual suspect."

EDIT...was talking out of my a--. Just looked at their schedule. Can't see that happening, unless they lay an egg at Mizzou.

Chances of a UGA loss in declining order:

LSU - 27%
Allbarn - 19%
SC (tie) - 15%
FL (tie) - 15%
Mizzou - 11%

Yep. The same one Bielema fired.

And the same one put UGA in a position to win it all with a true FR at QB.

And the same one that has an embarrassment of riches to work with that Arky could only dream of.

His power spread will pound opponents into submission once again this year. Not concerned.

Don’t start the name calling. It’ll be a good game between two great teams. Georgia will likely win, but I love when Georgia comes to br. Except in 2008. That was awful.

1st year in a new scheme with a different true FR QB. Also OL was bad that year.

Now it's the third year in the system with an experienced QB coming back and a highly thought of OL.

You do the math

There is very little chance we go undefeated in the regular season. SC, UF, LSU, Auburn and Missouri are all quality teams.

I was the OP of the gif. Clearly two separate hands holding up the letter "L", Way to far apart to be the Miami "U" as you eluded to.

Try harder next time.

Definitely some inexperience. But some of that is addition by subtraction. Secondary should be better without Parrish. Not worried about LB. Will take a step back without Roquan, but still a very good, talented unit. Offense will be a monster though

Horrible OL. Eason never had time that year.

Meh, I can I tell you that I'm not that concerned about Jim Chaney as an OC. The guy has always been a mediocre OC. It's the reason he has never stayed at school longer than just a few years. UGA's offense benefited from playing some very weak defenses last year, and honestly they sneaked up on some teams last year. Freshman QB nobody had seen before and an offense that was evolving during the year.

I will be interested to see how Chaney does, now that there is a whole year of game film on this offense, and there is a bulls eye on this teams back. A big part of being a good OC is being able to adjust when defenses have a whole off season to study you.

GA only averaged 24 ppg against the 4 best defenses they played last year (Bama, Miss State, and AU twice). Compare that to Auburn who averaged 31 ppg against those same opponents running a Mickey Mouse offense. That's a TD difference ppg.

I'd say USCe, AU, or LSU. Darkhorse is Mizzou.

USC gets us early and we're counting on a lot of talent that has little experience.

AU is always interesting. I learned years ago that their is no "Given" in this game...on either side.

LSU is a total wild-card. Talent is there. If they get something going, at night, in Death Valley, it could look like the 1st AU game last year where things just got away from us.

Mizzou will score some points. They get rolling early that game could be tough.

I'm bullish on my Dawgs this year. But even Bama, in their unprecedented run when they were clearly the best team in the country, rarely goes undefeated. It's just hard to do in the SEC.

Only if one "L" is backwards. Don't try at all next time. And learn to take a joke.

Georgia is an overconfident bunch. Ain't no way they're even gonna beat LSu.

UGA is coming off their best season in years, while LSU is coming off a season in which they lost to Troy at home. Wonder why UGA is confident? Also I've seen more LSU fans claim the game as a win than UGA fans.

Put 28 unanswered points on the Barn in the SECCG, so we’ll keep him.

And Swift is still swift, BTW.

The most likely spot for a loss is South Carolina.

Getting their offense early in the year is a plus for our defense (they can say the same thing about our defense).

I expect our offense to be very dangerous. However, we haven't been extremely tested in a hostile road environment.

That's OK. His job isn't to wow the opposing team's fans, it's to put UGA in a position to win football games which he did very well at last year.
