They've played every year since the 1925 season. That's the end of an impressive streak.

It's silly, dont see how the sec or acc has any say in what two instate universities do as it pertains to playing a football game.

Good job SEC,
Yeah, I think so. The ACC blindsided the SEC instead of working together. The ACC wants to control how the schedules work.

I applaud the SEC for not letting the ACC tell them what to do.

The ACC ruling should have no impact on this Game

All the ACC said was , was that the 1 OoC game be played in the State of the ACC School, Athens is in the State of GA

Gainesville is in the State of FLA

Lexington is in the State of Ky

Columbia is in the State of south carolina

So why are these games threatened, and why is the SEC pushing back if there's no Impact on the SEC School's home Game vs their ACC Rival

We ought to just play the game anyway. Thats what they did in the beginning....they might play 2, 3 games a week. Just show up at a high school stadium unannounced and play the damn game...we're playing fricking Missouri and not Georgia Tech...jesus h fricking christ in a hand basket....

Was there ever a time both were ranked in the top 10 together when playing against each other?

Because the ACC wanted any OOC games played in the ACC team's home state.

While that works for the half of us with established in state rivalries, it doesn't for Auburn/UNC, Georgia/UVA, and Arkansas/ND games and any others that would've been put together in a +1 SEC/ACC scenario.

Play the game with no sanctioning, no sec, acc, or NCAA. Hire a set of retired NFL refs and get it on.

TBH when scheduling in a CRISIS ---for the ACC to protect the major ACC-SEC In State rivalries which are the most important SEC OOC Games, that shows concern for the SEC and it would seem that the SEC would make a little more effort to make thing work

Indeed. It's the flagship rivalry of the SEC.
