What’s the offensive strategy?

It’s clear the team has more confidence in rushing than passing, but you’re a balanced attack with ~250yds both run & pass with an RPO QB threat

- FL put 270 yds on the ground against Bama.
- Surprisingly then FL only 166yds vs. Kentucky (UGA freakishly also had 166yds vs. ‘Cats)
- AR and EJ both avg. 70yds rushing per game
- I think we’re in agreement AR’s the better QB and gives the Offense more confidence. Assuming AR starts.

Don't throw 4 picks would be a great start.

Or have fat worthless man as your defensive coordinator. That can't adjust and stop the same counter play over and over and over again.

Even though they threw 4 ints. They still scored 42 points. You should win games where you score 42.

And it's all Mullen's fault, for not firing the fat worthless Grantham, after last season.

And you shouldn't be allowing 42 points when you get 4 turnovers and don't commit any yourself. It's honestly incredible, between last year's Florida and Ole Miss games and this year's Florida game, we were a combined +12 in turnover margin and yet only +15 combined on the scoreboard. How is that possible?

Back to Grantham though, I really don't see how that dude is still there No way he's on staff next year right?

Agree on all points! But we all know the defensive commentary. Offense is the more interesting quandary to speculate on

No, I think his contract expires after this season. He should have been fired last season though.

I'm done with the whole staff. They can't recruit, or get the team ready to play.

Offense doesn't really matter when your defense literally can't stop the other team from scoring, every time they get the ball. We have no true linebackers. Kirby should tell Stetson to turn around and hand the ball off 60 times in a row.

Mullen 2018, 2019 started Franks over Trask. We all know now that was a bad decision. He picked the wrong QB. And he's doing it again with Emory.

Hevesy is a horrible O line coach. And an even worse recruiter. UGa is going to drag this team.

Is it really that bad? I feel like yall've been in or around the top 10 pretty consistently. Development might be the issue which obviously falls on the coaching staff but I don't think getting the talent on campus is that big an issue.

Combination of a bunch of things. I think I heard today... Out of the 2018 and 19 defensive recruits we have 2 starters or something like that. Just look at our D line it's full of transfers. We have no run stuffing middle linebacker on the entire roster. And our dB's outside of Elam are average to below average.

I had to pause because I was like "wait, Matt Elam is still at Florida?"

Mullen has given me no reason to believe he starts AR. Emory first two drives, rack up a quick 10 point deficit then throw in the freshman QB and ask him to go play hero ball against the best defense we’ve seen in years

The issue is there have been several "locks" or what should be locks for Florida and they have opted to go play elsewhere and there is too much talent in Florida that leaves the state to play for other programs. It would be one thing if the cubbard were stocked full of 4/5 star players but that isn't the case unfortunately. Also as mentioned above, several positions have been neglected and it shows.

Florida's problem is that Georgia has three defensive tackles - none of which Florida can block without a double team. And all three of them do a good job of pushing the pocket right back into the quarterback's lap, or moving laterally and pushing the line into the ball carrier.

They don't get up-field like the 91' 'Bama defensive ends did. But I haven't seen any of them get stood up yet without committing both a guard and a tackle.

I doubt we could block them with a double team to be honest. The mobility of our QBs will alleviate some of that but I'm afraid it won't be near enough lol

If line is north of 21pts and Richardson starts Florida could hang around for awhile. They are more talented than Kentucky, with Richardson playing. Florida should have beaten Kentucky, we'll see.
I believe it will be Georgia's toughest SEC test yet. Florida may be better than Clemson with Richardson.

Hope that Kirby hasn’t learned how to defend a wheel route?

Use Richardson's arm to attack the secondary with deep balls. UF has the speed and (now) the QB to make life difficult for the UGA DBs. If Emory Jones plays 1 snap when the game is still in question for either team, Dan Mullen deserves to be fired. There's no doubt about who the better QB is.

It’s 7. Should be a closer game than people expect.
