Georgia Fans ONLY Basketball

Auburn has won five straight over Georgia, and the Tigers lead the series against the Bulldogs 96-94 all-time.
Isn't leading the series all that matters to UGA fans? (Well Final 4 runs also matter, championships, etc.)
This is a basketball thread, I know y'all are on a good run in Football. 56-60 in favor of UGA, This century UGA winning 14 and losing 7. To that I only have one answer 2010>>>>>>>>>>>>>1980...

They don't care about basketball except on the day that they beat Memphis.

The only thing that truly matters in sports are conference and division championships, just ask them about it, they'll tell you.

Auburn has a good looking team again this year and has an excellent chance to make another final 4 run I believe but having a series lead against Georgia basketball is not really something to beat your chest over. I would imagine most teams do

Bruce Pearl was a great hire and has Auburn playing at a very high level again.

Would you trade Auburn's active 5 game winning streak in basketball for UGA's active 3 game winning streak in football?

We know our Basketball team is historically awful. No one will argue that. We had a few good years with Nique, but aside from that our basketball program has been garbage and that likely won't change anytime soon.

I wouldn't. We'd lose an SEC Championship if we did.

I would not, going to the final 4 is of a lot more importance and fun. Also think Bruce has set us on a path to be a consistent factor in Basketball, something I NEVER thought was even possible.
Plus we beat Bama 2 of 3..

All I know is Auburn like UT last year is not winning an NCAA title and that's all that matters to most of you.

For a basketball thread you sure are referencing football a good bit. Maybe go back to the drawing board with this one.
Congrats on hiring Pearl. Don't think anyone questioned his coaching ability. Crean is improving the roster, but we're historically a pretty awful basketball team. That doesn't fix itself overnight.

So you'd rather make an appearance in the Final 4 than win a SEC Championship in football and make the playoffs. Interesting.
I never thought I'd see the day that AU fans gave up in football and turned to basketball instead.

I definitely would, but I don't think most Auburn fans think that way. Also, a regular season loss to Georgia wouldn't have had any effect on the Final Four. It would've only cost us the SEC Regular season title the year before.

We also enjoy owning and Tenners and seeing them get beat by teams like Georgia State and BYU.

Why, of course UGA cares more about than just conference and division titles. Granted, UGA hasn't won a national title in one of the big 3 sports (football, basketball, baseball) since 1990 (baseball).
But, we have won 36 national titles in all other various sports just since 1990. How many has Auburn won? You don't even know and even if you did, I'll tell you---it's not a fraction of the number UGA's won.

UGA, Bama, LSU, Arkansas, Kentucky and Florida are all in the top 30 all time in NCAA Division 1 sports titles. Did I miss anyone?
