1942...UGA was 11-1 (won Rose Bowl over UCLA) and was the CONSENSUS champion; Ohio State was the AP champion; Wisconsin also named champion.

1946...UGA was 11-0 and was the only unbeaten, untied team in the country...shared national titles with Army (9-0-1) and Notre Dame (8-0-1).

1980...UGA was the consensus champion; only undefeated team in the country; Florida State, Nebraska, Oklahoma, and Pittsburgh were also named champions in various polls.

*******

1920...UGA was 8-0-1, shared title with Harvard, Notre Dame, Princeton, and California, the consensus champion (9-0)

1927...UGA was 9-1 and shared title with Illinois (consensus champ), Notre Dame, Texas A&M, and Yale
