Some Georgia fans on this board seem to think Georgia is already a shoe-in for the playoffs next year or even the NC.
Well,guess what, dogs. This was your chance and you blew it. Hey, I'm sorry to hear it. I wanted yall to win, but you let us all down.
All I can say is don't let it escalate to a long losing streak like LSU has. We all know what happened after the 2011 season. That was loss one. This is loss 4 for you.
It's really not your fault, but don't expect to beat Saban in the SEC CG next year.
Also, don't construe this to mean that I think LSU is better. See yall in BR.

Saban has made most of the conference quit. UGA and AU are the SECs last best hope against the dark forces of Saban, everyone else done given up.

I don't think any of the UGA fans that have been posting on the Rant for years are saying that. Most of the posters saying this tend to have post counts in the single digits and are likely bandwagon jumpers or trolls.
Most of the UGA fans I've talked to are much more tempered with their expectations, realize so many things have to go right to get that far, so nothing is guaranteed. With the way this team played this year, and the recruiting going to the next level there's a huge swell of optimism for the future, but until we finally win the big one again, you'd be hard pressed to find too many UGA fans that proclaim we're a lock for anything.

I think most fans are aware of the painful dance that Georgia has taken on with Saban for over a decade even going back to LSU. Outside of a win or two, the painful dance is every time one of Georgia's best teams plays him, the red carpet gets pulled out from underneath them, then the next time is a beatdown. It does not fail, which is why I expect the next SECCG to be a blowout.
