Georgia beats any of the past Bama teams

They are more than likely the 2nd best team of the modern era. Behind 2019 LSU, of course. Georgia and LSU are going to have some big time battles coming up for SEC championships and the right to go to the playoff. LSU, with Kelly…… is supplanting Bama as the power in the west and Georgia has a stranglehold on the east. In short……… Bama is done.

Let's not get too uppity. Georgia had one of the GOAT seasons of all time. Y'all were the best this year. Congrats.

Nah, Bama 2020 is still the standard. All sec schedule and no close games.

This is some hopeful BS. Did you see Bama's recruiting class this year? As long as Saban doesn't have a medical issue, Bama is going to be right there every year. They were two one possession road games (one stolen by the refs) away from being in the game last night.

They were on the ropes against Ohio State and led the game for a total of 1 minute. Also had the easiest regular season schedule and the weakest championship opponent.

Did you forget 2020 Alabama? They’re arguably the second most dominant team since WW2 behind 1995 Nebraska. 2013 FSU is disqualified from the conversation because of their joke of a schedule.

2020 Bama was very good. Not as stacked as 2019 LSU. And I believe this Georgia team would have beaten that Bama team. Bowers would have went wild on that defense.

I mean, UGA was a great team this year but they also had super close calls against Missouri and needed late heroics to beat Ohio State.
Alabama in 2020 played one game all season that was decided by a touchdown or less and never required any sort of late-game heroics or comebacks to win. UGA was very good this year and deserving but they were a gnat's arse away from not being in the Natty, which isn't something you can say about 2020 Bama or 2019 LSU.

I would put this team middle of the pack in terms of natty winners they’re a really good team but there’s been a knee jerk reaction to this title blowout. And if that’s your criteria I’m not sure anyone could ever top what Clemson did in 2018.

I would legitimately like to watch 2015 Derrick Henry vs any of the great defenses
just pounding out two three yard runs until he wore people down
2015 Henry vs 2021 Georgia Defense would be fun
2011 Alabama or LSU defense vs 2019 LSU offense would also be fun

He's got to be among the top GOAT offensive players in history. He was and still is an incredible player.
