Genuine question for non-SEC fans

Why are certain posters that claim allegiance to non-SEC schools on an exclusively SEC forum? I am genuinely curious as to why you are wasting hours discussing a conference in which you don't play. Please try and defend your position, this should be entertaining.

I’m a SEC fan but I’m going to be totally honest here. Even if I wasn’t a fan I’d still be checking in. Watching the train wrecks we call Ole Miss and Tennessee is pretty dang entertaining. It’s like they sit around thinking about how they can embarrass their fans anymore, and then they go out and do it. Hard to turn away from watching.

At least y'all still play Clemson. So I can somewhat see why clemson fans come around. Seeing a dozen or so Longhorn fans frequent the board always gives me a chuckle though.

Response to OP: Well, we (ACC) do play the SEC quite often and we do share similar opponents year in and year out. More specifically, Clemson has been a topic for discussion on the board for a while now, so of course you are going to get some participation from Clemson fans at least.
And the fact that I get to read UGA and USCjr melts makes it pretty entertaining.

On a real note,this is the best designed forum for college football.
247 looks ancient, and most other team boards have shitty layouts.

I grew up and currently live in MO, graduated from OU. Besides reddit this is the only other place you can go to post with people from multiple fan bases. It’s a perfect platform for talking shite and also pissing on Aggie heads from time to time. OU has one of the best dedicated forums in all of CFB but aside from the yearly non con teams fans there’s only OU fans.

You're just angry that I pointed out Georgia had to dip into its cash reserves (a big no-no) to help pay for facilities expansion. So much for all that "profit."
