It's probably the best sporting event of the year

Can't blame you. With Kentucky taking the first two baseball games this weekend and a series sweep over Missouri looming tomorrow, dark times indeed in CoMo.

Uh, I’ve never in my life watched a Mizzou baseball game.

Weird flex for Kentucky. I understand since you’re not in the big dance though.

When we've won more NCAAT games than the rest of the conference combined we tend not to worry about peasant responses like this. You're not even in Kansas' ballpark there, much less ours.

It's the best month of the year for sports.

However, with Iowa and OSU as 2 seeds, and Illinois as a 1, it's hard to think that season was very good.

UK is up 2-0 on Mizzou in our series. I'm also a Reds fan, feel free to @ me Cards fans once we open the season.

Anyway, just wanted to get a lil baseball shite talk in. I was under the impression Missourians loved baseball. I guess it's all Royals and Cards and not college? Yall are in the SEC now. Gotta get in on the college ball too.

/baseball. Mizzou up 6-2 to open v Oklahoma. Good luck Tigers give em hell boys.

MU does not take Metal bat rounders seriously.

Now MO State really does. You can get your dose of Pingy Dingy there.

For actual baseball we start with the Springfield Cardinals, then work up to the Royals and Cardinals. Royals are triple A most years, but win a trophy every 30 years or so. St Louis can count on a WS win about once every decade.

No you are not. I appreciate so many things I once took for granted. Glad for you and the rest of us to have sports and some things returning to normal!

My best friend growing up moved to St Louis so I've been to Busch plenty to cheer on Cincinnati against those Dirty Birds.

Went to Kaufmann when I was probably 12 or 13 maybe? I dunno. I remember thinking it was a kickass stadium then but I was also a child.

I guess when I think of Missouri the first thing I think of is baseball. I assumed you boys would be all in on SEC baseball. No conference more passionate about college ball than this one.

Hope to get out to CoMo one of these seasons when UK plays there for a weekend series.
