How did an NFL starting QB from Flowood, MS escape the SEC? Seems to be off to a good start with the Jags.

He was considered undersized for the SEC. We were sitting in Chimes in Covington during the 2018 draft and he said that he could see himself there in a year. This was right before he moved up to Washington State. He was right.

Before he went to WSU, he spent spring training with Hal Mumme, then at Jackson State. He learned the Air Raid from Mumme and then performed it with Mike Leach.

I know I’m glad he’s here. Tired of hearing so much bs from the talking heads...

This Jaguars team may not have a great win total at season end, but for the first time in my recent memory, they’re trying. 2017 be damned, I’m glad some of the prima donnas are gone.

He almost walked on for Alabama until Leach snagged him.

Pretty crazy.
