Such a sad story and Rinaldi kicked us all in the nuts again.
RIP, Rod and Paula.

These types of stories are typically why I don't watch GameDay. I think Rod should have had his own tribute show on ESPN.

My wife doesn’t even watch football and she is crying like a baby. I shed a few tears too.

I admit. My eyes watered.

I teared up. Gut wrenching how life can turn on an arbitrary dime like that.

Yeah I’m sorry for their family and this doesn’t have anything to do with them, but....
Do we really need this shite every single week on Gameday? The tear-jerking segments are way over the top especially since they’re every week. If you don’t have enough content to fill the show, then shorten it.

I’m not a huge fan of these stories. Or at least I wish they’d screen them better for families.
Last week was the one about a school shooting.
Well I had the tv on but was doing some work outside for a few minutes. Next thing I know my 6 year old is freaking out about his school maybe getting shot up from the segment.

I changed it. Who the hell wants to cry on game day.

With all the shite talking that segment put it all in perspective.

I already started a thread on this.

This week?
Yes. This is the essence of college football and the fans.
Every other week? I don’t know. Because I don’t watch Gameday.
I plan to find this weeks story on the web later.

Very sad situation. I always enjoyed listening to him when listening to State and Auburn play.

I sat and cried. Seriously. But so glad their children are well taken care of in the aftermath.

This is why Fox has the better show and will win in the end
Take it to the hallmark channel

That was a tough watch. I feel bad for their kids that have to weather that storm far too early in their lives.
