You honestly expect people to believe.......

Out of all the student-athletes at bama, more than 1/3 of the honor roll athletes are football players?

Here'ya go, scooter! Have fun refuting this!

"BIRMINGHAM, Ala. - The University of Alabama placed 90 student-athletes on the 2018 Fall Southeastern Conference Academic Honor Roll, the conference office announced Thursday. The Crimson Tide is one of just three schools to have 80 or more student-athletes earn the honor, ranking second overall and first among teams that don't sponsor men's soccer.

A total of 34 members of Alabama's SEC champion football team earned a place on the honor roll."

Nobody is saying it didn't happen. What I am saying is " ".

Now break down the ratio of the other schools football players to other athletes that made the honor roll. I think you will see what a farce bama's numbers are.

You stupid bastard! Alabama and Auburn's football teams BOTH make up about 37% of the total. Take your foot off your dick!

I bet you would have made the honor roll at bama as an athlete too.

The University of Alabama competes in 22 sports and has a total of 640 student athletes: 334 men and 306 women.

You've got a severe reading comprehension problem if you don't understand what YOU said...I'll bet you're a helluva communicator!

One of the biggest BS awards that college sports hands out. The fact that every curriculum is different and then the difference in school standards. You have a student/athlete honored for his grades in Communications at Bama, but do not acknowledge a C student in Engineering at Vandy. These awards are for the propaganda of the Conference and schools.

Y'all shouldn't have to worry. I think y'all had about a dozen football players on your Honor Roll.

I know exactly what I said...

The ratio of honor roll athletes, who are football players, towards the total number of student-athletes is absurd.

football players make up less than 1/4 of the student-athletes. Yet at bama, more than 1/3 of football players made the honor roll. You do the math. Wait, you think football players make up 37% of the student-athletes........so let somebody else do the math.

I knew this was coming. You've got a point, but it's also indicative of the priority each school puts on the scholastic success of it's students.
I noticed that a huge number of the Alabama kids are in the school of C&BA (many pursuing marketing degrees), and that's not a "piece of cake" at Alabama.
Regardless of how you spin it, it's something that a school and its fans can/should be proud of.

"Now break down the ratio of the other schools football players to other athletes that made the honor roll."

You can't be this stupid.

That's exactly what I said...compare the number of football players to the other student athletes, who made the honor roll, at the other schools not named bama.

Just what I said above....again.

ETA Is your reading comprehension really that bad? I have already figured out your mathematic skills are lacking.

The students family can be proud of it, but the schools use it to appease academia and justify the athletic programs. Believe me, when you see clusters in degree fields at any major school, you can count on having select courses and professors who are cooperative with the Athletic Programs. It has been going on for years at every school.
