Florida. My wifes stepdad (a UF grad) is coming up for the game. All of us old school friends always get together for a game and spend the whole weekend in town, so I plan on getting him shitface from Friday until he leaves.

Outside of LSU and A&M, the opponent who played us the toughest in 2012 was Ole Miss.

Ole Miss provides for annually one of the most fun weekends of the year.

Combine that with the fact they haven't beaten us since the dawn of High-Definition Television, it makes for a good Saturday.
Hey ... Wait ...

For me it's a somewhat three way tie as well:

1a) Texas in Austin ... IF (Big if I know) but if we can pull a win out there it will be one of the greatest road trips I have ever went to in all my time.

1b) LSU at home ... always spells for a great game, need I say more.

1c) Vandy in Nashville ... first it's Nashville & that place is AMAZING! Second it's the first game of the year and when we stop the losing streak.

Not really. I know ya'll will want to make it out like a huge upset to build more hype around freeze, but I think the rebs win by two touchdowns. It sounds absurd after last year's beatdown, but you're better coached and return 19 starters that remember that arse whipping...oh, and a top recruiting class

I don't see it as much like that as this (I hate to take this WAOM attitude but still) ...

It's STILL TEXAS and we are STILL OLE MISS playing in Texas. I'm not taking anything for granted and it'll be a very tough game, but I do think we have a chance to pull it out if our team has improved over the offseason.

1 Ole Miss at home, should be a great start to the season

2 UGA, want to keep it closer than last year.

3. A&M at LSU. I've been touring the rest of the SEC and it is LSU time. I haven't been there before, but it should be electric with Jff coming to town. Now I just need to get some LSU gear so that I don't get hit by a whiskey bottle.

I think this is the year my Ole Miss friends from Louisiana learn to fully hate LSU. They've gone to Ole Miss but cheered for LSU in every game but the Ole Miss game. i think after a 9-10 win season they'll fully embrace the rivalry. I am going to miss them

And I can't wait to get back to oxford. Always my favorite trip, but that might change because this is my first yar going to Athens 21

Athens is one my favorite road trips. I think I love that place almost as much as I love Oxford ... given I'm an Ole Miss fan/alum you know that's saying a lot.

Have fun it's a rowdy place and I really hope that Ole Miss/LSU game counts for something other than pride those games are always so much better in that case because the hate starts to flow and a OM/LSU REAL RIVALRY is something to be marveled at ... I still remember 2003 the greatest/worst football game I have ever been to.

None probably.

I might get to go to Tech in Atlanta before I fly back after Thanksgiving. Trying to plan a GA/FL trip but I'll probably be too broke.

I know I'm going to seem biased, but Athens is just fricking legendary. The vast layout of Downtown, the bars and clubs at your fingertips, plus the tail walking around is impossible to fit into one weekend, let alone one night.

Friday night pre-game you will have fun.

God willing, LSU weekend will be another night game so you can sober up and do it all over again during the day.
Post-game, you and everyone in the stadium wind up downtown for a repeat of Friday night (win or lose, it doesn't matter. There will be a huge crowd).
