The kid has no competitive advantage from the Roids in his body. It's not like he took a lot on purpose to get strong, a doctor gave it to him and its just stayed in his body way longer than anybody thought.

That the NCAA followed their policies and procedures? I hate the NCAA, but all they're doing is following their established rules

Gonna be tough to win a lawsuit... When the kid signed his LOI he agreed to follow all rules and parameters set up by the NCAA... If he fell short in any way, he would be deemed ineligible... The rule was in place before he ever attended UGA and it's pretty black and white.... For the record, I think it's horseshite... He seems like a great kid and he deserves the chance to play.. But suing the NCAA and winning will not be easy.

This is a lawsuit that the NCAA doesn't even want.
Lawyers are expensive.

And remember that this would be a jury trial.
Big bad NCAA would be exposed against an innocent 16 year old advanced 7 years forward.

It's not the type of PR or expense that the NCAA wants.
And damages in this type of trial would be astronomical (if Kolton is never granted eligibility before his 5 years are up).

You can say that it's a tough lawsuit to win.
But the odds of winning and the size of the potential damages awarded should make this a case that the NCAA strongly avoids (ie. even if the odds of winning a jury trial for Kolton are 20%... he could potentially have damages upwards of $50M on top of the legal expenses. The NCAA has a monopoly on draft eligible players).
