All y'all on here like to throw dirt on Mississippi St saying we've historically sucked. And for about 80 years we did, fair point. But in the last 25 years we've gone toe to toe with every school in the SEC, all while being in the smallest college town, in the poorest state, on the smallest athletic budget.

In the last 25 years State has been to a Final Four, played for natty championship series in Omaha, and been the #1 team in the country in football. And only the Alabama schools and Georgia(by a sliver) have been ranked more often or higher in the CFP rankings. How many of the other SEC school's can say that that about all 3 sports? Off the top of my head I'm guessing Florida and LSU. Possibly Arky and SC.

Again, we're doing it on pennies on the dollar compared to the rest of you. And I'm not even gonna mention Womems BB.

Come on now we ain't that poor. Last I checked we were ahead of Kentucky, Ole Miss, Missouri and Vandy for athletic budget.

Is this a warning to expect our divorce papers being served again?

I didn’t even know Mississippi State existed before we joined the SEC. MSU = Michigan State

We are heads and shoulders above those 4 in overall athletic success, compared to the other 9 schools, my point stands and you know it.

His arse is chapped because if we weren’t in the conference, then we wouldn’t have played them and beaten them, effectively sending them to the NIT.

Impressive melt though.

I personally see nothing wrong with Missouri being in the SEC. They wanted out of that dreadful conference they were in, seems like most of them wanted out. They have a strong sports program and they are a big state university.

West Virginia was the program that desperately wanted in the SEC and I, for one, was glad the SEC selected Missouri for the 14th team.
