So you let teams dink and dunk on you all day? Yall both played 1 decent team. UF gave up 12 first downs. Lsu gave up 30.

One of us went up agai st an offense that is fully capable of “dinking and dunking” while the other went up against an offense that is barely capable of hiking the ball to their QB.

True, but Florida hasn't played a top 25 offense

UF and LSU also allow essentially the same number of first downs/game.

LSU's defense allows 5.5 ppg more than UF. That includes playing against a pretty strong offense in USU and a great offense in UT. UF also played 2 FCS teams and absurdly bad offenses.

UF's clearest defensive advantage is sacks (though even that was largely aided by playing the statistically worst OL in CFB) and turnovers. All other defensive categories are very close to even.

Protecting Burrow to allow good decisions will be the biggest factor in this one. Easier said than done.

Sounds like LSU and Florida's defenses need to get on Mizzou's level.

That is unfortunate!

I feel it helps me emphasize my tone (something that is not easy to do with plain text)

I am sorry - but with all doodoo respect - the markup tools were built for that very reason!
