Actually UT only has 5 total since the game started in 92.

Bama and Florida are tied at 12 appearances apiece, UGA with 8, Auburn and LSU both with 6, Tennessee with 5, Arkansas with 3, Mizzou with 2, and MSU and Carolina each with 1

Saturday makes 8 (2002, 2003, 2005, 2011, 2012, 2017, 2018, 2019)

Bama has been 7 (2008, 2009, 2012, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2018)
LSU has been 6 (2001, 2003, 2005, 2007, 2011, 2019)
Florida has been 6 (2000, 2006, 2008, 2009, 2015, 2016)
Auburn 5 (2000, 2004, 2010, 2013, 2017)
Tennessee 3 (2001, 2004, 2007)

Interesting how every West team has a winning record:
Alabama 6-1
LSU 4-1
Auburn 3-2

All East teams are .500 or worse
Florida 3-3
UGA 3-4
Tennessee 0-3

I’ve been on this board for 10 years. I knew what I was going to get in response. Maybe I was just picking a fight out of boredom (and genuinely sharing what I thought was an interesting statistic given Bama’s recent dominance)?

UGA would also be half the answer to "Which two teams DON'T have a winning record in the SECCG since 2000".

Two birds with one stone.

Per the list it's 3 teams. Gotta love that swamp edja-cajun.

You know this site was started as an offshoot of TigerDroppings, so stop being obtuse.

They played #2 Florida in 2008, #1 Florida in 2009, #3 Georgia in 2012, and #4 Georgia in 2018.

Right, and you lost that first one, which is why I said half of the wins were against teams that were "soup cans." It might be more fair to call them heavy underdogs.

Alabama was favored by 14.5 against Missouri in 2014, by 17 against Florida in 2015, and by 23.5 against Florida in 2016. Like I said, Alabama played much more difficult games in the regular season those years, which is why they may not get as much credit for winning all those games. They were predicted to be blowouts and were.

since 2007, 3 in the west split western titles, while 2 in the east split titles....

Tennessee making it to Atlanta seems as far-fetched as Kentucky now lol

believe it or not, Tennessee finished 5-3 in the SEC this year. I don't see any reason why they can't be competing for the East in the next couple of seasons if they continue moving forward like they did the second half of the season.

Also, fwiw, they finished 2nd in the East in 2015 behind Florida. Had they beaten Florida, they would have won the East. Even worse in 2016. They beat UGA and Florida but lost to Vandy and USC to miss out on winning the East. Also lost in a very good game to A&M that year.
