Yes he recruited well and still couldn't win anything that matters.

You good with that?

You here a lot about this talk that Notre Dame is recruiting so much better now that Kelly left. But people don’t realize that Kelly is part of the reason for the number 1 class.

Kelly to LSU wasn’t leaked until 11/29/21. Let’s take a look at some these commitment dates for these notable Notre Dame players:

Well, we can use "Gump Logic" and say Kelly is responsible for next 2 years of talent at ND.

Bro. We know it. Let BK prove it.

We aren’t aTm. Stop acting like one of their “fans” and talking like that. We are better than that.

Well he's knocked twice so far and left sorer than a $2 whore both times.

Saban, Miles, and Orgeron never won anything significant before coming to LSU but still won titles and a ton of games.

Kelly has maybe not won anything significant yet but he has accomplished more and won more games than all 3 of those coaches combined when they first came to LSU.

I’m perfectly fine with that.

And none of them were coaching at ND and had the 5th most active NFL talent to work with either.

Notre Dame and Alabamas talent are not even close. Huge gap between 1 and 5

The whole point for Kelly was not having that huge gap and going to LSU would even that out. I would assume LSU is 2nd or 3rd in active NFL talent?

Well that doesn't appear like it's going to pan out.

Also, doesn't explain how he consistently lost games to vastly less talented teams. Nor how other teams with large recruiting gaps to Saban somehow managed to find a win.

The teams that have beaten Saban recently have been Georgia, Clemson, LSU, Texas AM, which have in the past been better at recruiting than Notre Dame consistently.

That doesn't explain how he lost games to Duke and Cincinnati when he had a talent advantage.

Every coach has lost games to teams with less talent.

Clemson lost 3 games last year and had significantly more “talent” does that make Dabo a terrible coach?

Georgia lost to South Carolina 2 years ago? Does that make Kirby a terrible coach?

Alabama lost to Auburn not to long ago does that mean Saban is a terrible coach?

And every coach you listed has managed to win the big games.

BK has not. Consistently. So not only can he not win the big games, he also loses to random teams for no clear reason.

Thanks for proving my case.

You literally just proved my point.

Georgia, Clemson, Bama, LSU,
Have out recruited Notre Dame way more consistently the past 5 years or so.

Therefore BK moves to LSU to lessen the talent gap.

BK is a top 5 coach I don’t know what your trying to say?

Just because he hasn’t won a championship doesn’t mean he’s a terrible coach.

The talent gap is not the problem.

If there's a thread about Brian Kelly, you know EC3 will be in it.

let me guess BK is the problem?

Going to the playoffs twice, going to a NC, consistently winning 10 games or more is the problem right?

But yet you say he can’t win the big games but when I list the teams who have, they consistently seem to finish higher on the recruiting rankings, and have had more NFL talent.

Interesting…
