No sense using logic in these discussions. People have built in biases in these type of things.

The SEC getting FSU wouldn't be for more TV viewers as much as it would be to stop the Big 12 from capitalizing on a part of the FL and southeast market. That's the bigger deal. At this point who can the SEC add that brings value as both a program and tv viewership? Everyone says VT and Maryland and I agree with Maryland but they are a traditional ACC school who prioritizes basketball and the secondary sports over football. Doubt they leave and they honestly don't bring much value as a football program. VT is the wrong VA school to bring in for viewership and long term football success but do fit the SEC model of a true football school. UVA is the better money grab and long term football option but again they are another school that is a traditional ACC type school in that though they do prioritize football, they also are very stringent academically and with secondary sports. Would they play dirty to hang with the SEC schools? If the SEC adds for TV only purposes then those 3 schools should be the targets but imo the SEC should be about SEC style football and that is FSU and Clemson. They already play by SEC rules and would fit right in.
