I am going to assume they worked out something on that with Frost. It is too hard to assume that anyone with a working brain would've not waited twenty days otherwise.

EDIT:
Oh shite, I completely forgot Trev Alberts had a hand in this. It is actually easy to now understand how they could royally frick this up.

At this point the szn is fricked and you should have just waited until October 1st to make the change and save the $ for Frost's replacement.

Crazy, maybe they worked out a deal with Frost to save some of the $8 million.
