Aggie pick up win over Vandy in series opener
NASHVILLE, Tennessee - Texas A&M pitcher Nathan Dettmer weaved seven innings of two-hit baseball as the Aggies topped the No. 22 Vanderbilt Commodores in Thursday's series opener at Hawkins Field, 5-1.

Gamecocks take game 1 vs Bama with walk off hit
COLUMBIA - Colin Burgess' single to left scored Evan Stone, giving the University of South Carolina baseball team a 6-5 walk-off win over Alabama Thursday night (April 28) to open a three-game series at Founders Park.

A&M leading in hitting this late in the season feels crazy. The change between RC and Schloss has been immediate on the offensive side of the ball.

Not disagreeing with you, but RC had some teams that absolutely raked a few years back.

State really needs that to be 13-4 after the weekend.

It's not easy to sweep anyone. I know LSU just swept them, but it was in Baton Rouge and the games were all close.

Thu, Apr 21 @ (22) LSU L 3 - 5
Fri, Apr 22 @ (22) LSU L 3 - 4
Sat, Apr 23 @ (22) LSU L 6 - 8

I feel like sweeps, in general, this year aren't happening very often outside of UT.

Mizzou is a better team than their record like most sec teams. We have good pitching and held them down mostly but they can hit

Arkansas won every series last season and only had 2 sweeps. State and Florida.

Bama, Auburn, A&M, Ole Miss, Carolina, LSU, Georgia, Tennessee all took a game from them.
