Frickin NCAA man, why have an 11 pm rule if you don't follow it?

Try to get games in by 11 p.m. Why do I feel like this is an ESPN decision because they have MLB on right now.

Just screw over the winners bracket teams by making the loser play on no rest while the team they play has a day.

Granted if State wins tomorrow none of this matters.

With the forecast they should be in the business of getting the games in as quick as possible.... but it’s the NCAA.

It's absolutely a TV move. They could play this tonight but know that no one will watch it. Even if they play it during work hours, their ratings will still be ridiculously higher.

ESPN is communist. Workforce productivity will be significantly down tomorrow with many fans calling in sick or streaming the game at work.

This may affect Arkansas as well. If anything happens tomorrow which is highly likely, we may be pushed. And Wednesday looks like the worst weather day of all.

There is zero chance that three games all play on time.

Screw the NCAA and ESPN for being incompetent bitches.

You just gave UNC more pitching rest, made the loser have to play the next day while Oregon State gets two days or rest, and caused fans like me who went to Omaha have to go home tomorrow because we planned on watching State Tonight.

Now I won't even be able to watch it because I'll be driving back. frick you NCAA and ecspecially ESPN.

This could push our game into Friday with the soggy forecast

Heck, just last June we had a game end at 3:00 AM vs Missouri St in the regional. Having MSU/UNC play tonight should have been the right call.

Ridiculously higher? Dude, not trying to be an a-hole, but moving a college baseball game from 11pmish to 11am doesn’t move the needle. If it were to go off at midnight tonight(est) I might at least catch some of it live. I seriously doubt I’ll see much at all tomorrow.
I think this is strictly a logistics move. Looks like more storm cells could possibly be moving towards Omaha tonight.

While fans that have teams playing (at least some of us) are really into it, the majority of the entire world could give two shits about college baseball. I can assure you, if State wasn’t in this, there’s zero chance I’d even try to watch two other teams play at 11am, no matter what conference.
The viewership will be nominal to nothing.

Meanwhile Ellen will have more people watching than the entire population of the state of MS.

Was in Baum for that one.

And not allowing them to play will cause a clusterfrick in Omaha this weekend.

The NCAA just keeps stepping on their own dicks. It's summer and pop up thunderstorms happen just about every day, just play the game tonight. Just stupid shite

Yes, a 10 AM game will have a ridiculously higher amount of viewers than a game that starts at 11 PM no matter which way you slice it. I'm not saying the viewers are on par with the Superbowl. I'm saying that if ESPN is airing it, they'll want the best outcome...

It completely screwed me out of 500 dollars and a chance for my dad to see two games while in Omaha.

Not to mention we sat around all day yesterday and all day today waiting for the game to be informed at 845pm that it will be moved to our travel day because we have work wednesday
