Dude, he doesn't have to bring in some special guy. Most teams have one guy calling plays. The offense is already installed.

I mean he's calling plays with this offense. It's not like a super secret offense. We run like 6 or 8 plays. Multiple personnel groupings and formation is what makes it work..

Y'all act like Steve's up there with Alzheimer's mumbling to himself or something

The average fan would be blown away by how few different plays we run.

Like I said its all formations.. We have 3 running plays 3

Not counting burrows draw and sweep

The thing is the receivers run option routes, based purely on leverage of the db or whoever guarding them.. That's hard to stop but you have to have the qb and receivers on the same page.

Question, I'm curious, do bamas receivers run option routes sometimes? Cuz they say it's rare but I can't imagine were the only college team doing it

They don't seem like they do. Not like our guys have.

OP, Brady is an NFL coach. Be happy you had him for the one year

Totally agree. Not worried dude. Just wish Brady could stay but I get it. He might not get another chance to make that money. Gotta look out for the family. I'm sure I'd do the same if I was him.

He'll be back in a few years after Orgeron is canned.

Quit whining you sissy cry baby. The play book and the primary play caller remain, and hopefully we can keep Munoz - the QB Coach.

Jorge Munoz had more to do with Joe’s year than Brady. All Brady did was introduce LSU and SE to the Concept of the RPO. Jorge Munoz is the real prize

Yeah can't blame him for that. He'll be making some serious dough when he gets a head coach gig.

Head coaching at your next door neighboring State in College! That would be funny!

I have absolutely no sympathy for you.

In a 1-month span from December 2012 to January 2013, A&M lost

Kliff Kingsbury (OC)
Matt Wallerstedt (Linebackers)
Brian Poilian (Special Teams)
2/4 starting WR (Ryan Swope, Uzoma Nwachukwu)
Patrick Lewis (starting C)
Luke Joeckel (starting LT)
Damontre Moore (starting Rush End)
Spencer Nealy (starting 3-tech)
2/3 starting linebackers (Sean Porter, Jonathan Stewart)
2/4 starting defensive backs (Steven Terrell, Dustin Harris)

Nothing wrong with a minor disappointment and expressing it. I'm not even angry about it. Never was.

Brady has to go if he gets offered that. What he wanted to do was move up in the NFL ranks. He bet on himself to make a difference at LSU and he did. I think we would all agree the Offense was going to take a step back next year with Burrow gone. From an NFL perspective, I would have made Brady prove it one more year without Burrow but that is their choice. For Brady, you have to strike while the iron is hot.
