He has a knack for building up programs. Will that build up get to the point that Auburn is satisfied? We'll see.
He'll win. Will he win enough? Guess we'll find out.
His Elmer Gantry shtick still plays with a good number of recruits. His wonky bubble-screens also give quite a few defenses problems. And he has a pretty good eye for WR talent.
Hugh will win. I'm sure a lot of Auburn folks will hold their noses and enjoy the victories. People talk about him beating Saban back-to-back, but anyone who watches those games know that second one was effectively gifted by the football gods.
He can play the game at Auburn with boosters. He can glad-hand and "Aw, Shucks" his way through dinners and everything else. Auburn knows he can rebuild programs. They may ditch him when he hits his ceiling, and Freeze does have a ceiling.

Auburn is the new Tennessee. For Auburn's sake, let's hope it doesn't take them 24 years to figure it out. I don't see Auburn finishing much higher than fourth in the west while Freeze is there. At least they didn't give him much money.
