No why would it. This isn’t just Karen’s either. There are some real Auburn fans who are good people who think this is a morally questionable hire. I’m not saying hire is right or wrong but I certainly respect their view point in regards to the university they support.

Caddy makes it a smooth transition for the current players on the roster. Caddy walks the walk and is the best AU alumni out there who is close to the program. He is also a great bridge to the former players. This was a perfect choice. Most coaches are lost looking for that first hire to unite everyone.

It should calm down some of the naysayers but the self flaggelating, we are not worthy pearl clutchers, will keep crying. You act as if this was some genius move on Freeze’s part lol he had no choice but to hire him only a fool would cut him from the staff. It will be his third different head coach so he clearly wants to stay at his alma mater

He didnt want the job but happy to work with hugh. Id bet money Cadillac was very pro hugh for the hire
