Who you got?

Franks embarrassed LSU last year. He ran, caught a pass and threw some miracle balls. He's got some chutzpah though.

Burrow is the people's QB. Smart guy and plays smart too. His stats are misleading. To be fair, he only made one bad play in the Tigers/Gators game last year but it was a really bad pick-6.

I think I would take Franks though. Burrow's touch on the ball is a little soft. He ain't afraid to go mano a mano but he's clumsy. Franks' throws look good and I think he'll improve a lot more than Burrow will this season.

What say you?

They are so different. I’d take Franks for athleticism but with Bamas RB and WR Burrow could be just as successful. But to be fair I’m still a 3yds and a cloud of dust guy.

I can dig it. I like Joe too, I just think there's more upside for Franks.

Franks because he has more natural talent and he also has Mullen to coach him up. I would pick Burrow if MAC or Muschamp was still our head coach.

Joe is savvy. He draws teams offsides for first downs. Maybe Franks is more of an athlete, but Joe can run too. Joe has this uncanny ability to lure defenses into forgetting he can run for first downs. He waits until key plays and then takes off. Anyway, I would rather have Burrow over Franks.

Yeah Burrow is not unathletic and can run but he is not as effective running to me as Franks.

Burrow had slightly better numbers vs. The SEC. He has the intangibles that Franks lacks. I'll take Burrow anyway of the week. Not to mention Franks dumb arse looking scruff.

The gap between the ears is much larger than the talent gap.

Obviously you’d take Franks physical tools and anyone who says otherwise is lying to themselves. With that being said you can’t underestimate the things Joe brings you. The moxie, confidence, toughness, and leadership set Joe apart, not to mention I feel Joe is the much smarter quarterback.

While there’s no denying Franks physical tools and high ceiling, I do not feel like there’s a better leader under center in the SEC than Burrow. So give me Joe Burrow.

Joe Burrow is a physically limited average qb. Mentally he's been better than Franks, no doubt.

Franks is a physical beast. Bigger, faster, stronger, with a much stronger arm. Mentally he has been lacking, but improving under Mullen's coaching. I expect Franks to be much improved this season. I'll take Franks just on potential alone.

One guy led a go ahead touchdown drive in the fourth quarter in the Florida-LSU game.

The other guy threw a game sealing pick six in the Florida-LSU game

Both have strengths and weaknesses. Let's see how Franks does year two under Mullen.

Burrow reminds me of Del Rio...he is a smart guy but he is limited physically.
