Fox Sports using Burrow at #1 to bolster 2015 Ohio State as one of the best ever; DBU too

These posts are from the last few days. I know sucking Ohio State off is what Fox Sports does, but it's like they're ignoring LSU's draft and the 2019 season.

It's not like they're saying "OSU players taken...", they went out of their way to specifically state "2015 roster". Nothing they said is wrong or factually incorrect.

A bit disingenuous sure, but doesn't seem like anything to be worked up about.

It’s almost like Fox has a contract with the Big Ten or something. Crazy...

Bama's 17 team has already produced 11 1st round picks, with 4 more players on that team likely going 1st round next year.

LSU had 5 this year
Will likely have 3 next year (Chase, Marshall, Stevens) with potential of more (Think damone Clark, Tyler shelvin, maybe some of the offensive linemen)
And then the freshman class with Stingley, flott, mo Hampton, Brooks, and that’s just freshman that played last year.

And that’s not even including all the players that will be drafted not in the first (definitely offensive linemen). The 2019 roster was fricking stacked.

How far back did they have to go to find a pic of Joe throwing a pass for OSU?

Even funnier, the guys ahead of Joe on the depth chart in 2015, Cardale Jones went in the 4th round in 2016 and JT Barrett went undrafted in 2018.

I think the 2014 and 2013 teams were better than the 2015 cfp team

I mean, that is a pretty impressive lineup, and they've definitely have a very good case for being considered DBU

But them claiming Burrow is weak and beneath them imo. OSU should be above claiming QBs that transferred and saw success elsewhere. Especially when they have a Heisman candidate QB currently starting for them.

I remember people saying that CFP game would be close, like did you forget the 2011 Citrus Bowl? Saban has no mercy for his former employer

All this does is make me question Urban Meyer's status. Did he do less with more? Looks like it to me.

They seem much more consistent with Day, granted it's only been one season. Meyer's UF and OSU teams always had one clunker per season in them

Despite having twice as much talent as the teams they lost to. I mean come on ... Purdue? Penn State? Michigan State? Those Urban Meyer OSU teams should have mowed over weak competition like that.
