Point is, play stupid games, win stupid prizes.
Army may make them do shite, too, but if an athlete doesn't want to go to a school with that type of culture, they'll go elsewhere. Play elsewhere. Which is why Army hasn't done shite for over 70 years.
But if that's how you define success, then no harm no foul. Everyone's mileage is different.
