Eeh there is ugly stuff behind Dantonio. He likely “retired” because of it.

This whole time everyone has been worried about Alabama getting hit by the NCAA.

The NCAA responds by going after a former Saban assistant.

I may not know much about how the recruiting process works but I'm gonna say this is a "forced" retirement.

I mean the day before National Signing Day come on..

It’s about time the NCAA step in to clean up the rampant cheating in the Big Ten.

There are some allegations of major NCAA violations that have emerged today. Then he announces his “retirement” on the same day, which happens to be the day before NSD?

I agree that OP’s title is a troll, but I also don’t think Dantonio just retired today in a pure coincidence.

Not sure why he stepped down. Should have used the Will Wade defense.
