Former LSU OLineman T-Bob Hebert says Cam's 2010 >>>>> Burrow 2019

They were asking him who was the best QB that he saw LSU go up against in his time there between Cam, Tebow, and Manziel. After giving the obvious answer, Cam, he continued unprovoked to explain that he puts Cam's 2010 season over Burrow's 2019 as the greatest individual season by a QB in CFB history bc Cam did it without NFL talent to work with and would individually take over games, while Burrow seemingly had a good bit of high end NFL to work with and in his case the entire offense was operating on an elite level to work together to take over games
Nobody on this board is qualified to argue against T-Bob's opinion. It's over. Case closed.

To be fair, they're not necessarily mutually exclusive.
As he stated, Burrow had the benefit of WAY more talent surrounding him than Cam did. Would Burrow's season been as effective if he had been throwing to Darvin Adams (undrafted FA), Terrell Zachery (undrafted FA), and Emory Blake (undrafted) instead of Ja'Marr Chase (AA and Biletnikoff Award), Justin Jefferson (projected mid-first round), and Terrace Marshall Jr. (probably comes close to 1000 yards as well if not for injury)? Not to even get started on comparing OLs and TEs.
Cam 2010 was much more of a one-man show than Burrow 2019. Doesn't mean Burrow's season wasn't better.

I don't have an issue with that line of thinking, just laughing at TBob being used as the barometer when he's well known to play to whatever crowd he's talking to.

You ever think maybe LSU WRs were better because of Burrow. Great players make others around them better. That was terrible comparison. And T Bob did saw Joe had best season ever . Not sure what he said in hictown.
