Forget who goes first...where would you like to see Chase and Smith go based on NEED

I personally think LSU fans should hope that Smith goes first because that means that Devonta has a chance of getting picked up by the Jets, which until proven otherwise already has his career in a hole.

Regardless of what people think about Wentz, Chase would be going to an organization with a former OC as HC (didn’t really help the Jets to be fair) and a decent QB room. I think Philly’s recent hire was a mix of saving face and hoping Wentz will get out of his funk, which is I why I believe Chase would be in a better spot. Devonta if picked higher, would be going to two unproven and young QBs who just have not had the proper weapons and system around to help them succeed. At the very least we know Wentz has a certain potential and we've seen what Hurts can do.

I hope both of them succeed but I also think that they’ll both be in an uphill climb if either of them go first. Ideally, Chase needs to go to the Eagles and Devonta needs to go to the Dolphins. Either that or the Lions swoop in for some dumb reason and pick up one of them which would be WAAAAAAYYYYY better than either situation.


Just my take. Unnecessary animosity on the subject given how many variables go into the equation of a WR’s success.
