For the 2nd year in a row, LSU has diverted all interest in SECCG Week

16Last year they did it by announcing a massive hire of Brian Kelly that took up the Internet real estate of the SEC rant in every thread
This year they did it by losing to Texas 4&7 in rivalry week, the same Texas 4&7 that lost to Sunbelt Billy, Cadillac, and App State.
People are so disinterested in what’s going to be an absolute beat down this weekend that they are more preoccupied with whatever weird stuff is going on on the plains than the championship game.
At least last year there were some intrigued about who might win.
This year is so anti-climactic and LSU has really let down the conference yet again

Hopefully Georgia players overlook LSU like LSU overlooked A&M.

I don't see it, the SECCG is basically meaningless for Georgia outside of seeding changes.

it's possible that ohio state would jump georgia but not likely. the CFP doesn't want a rematch with michigan.

I am hoping Georgia feels just as board with LSU as you do right now. I am not sure if we will win, but UGA better get ready, Tigers come to fight.

is that why Clemson and Notre Dame both made the CFP in 2020 after having already played each other twice, or UGA/Bama both making it last year and in 2017?
I don't think OSU and Michigan will both make it, but it won't have anything to do with the committee not wanting a rematch
