For future scheduling purposes, why not treat 2020 as a do-over?

Why not all teams just roll over all future OOC games one year and pick up in 2021 like 2020 never happened? Hell, do the same with conference scheduling as well.

Of course, its near impossible to get consensus across all of college football so this will never happen.

because they are using this to skip ahead in the rotation, so they can create a new format once its completed
