Shame on all of CFB for letting Bama get in again and win ANOTHER mulligan. They should have added the conference champion clause then and there.
Of course it was only for he runner-up spot behind the Golden Knights.

Just stop already. A 2 loss team with a 31 point defeat by an unranked team should not sniff the playoffs. I think it should be obvious who the best 2 teams ended up being, and they were in the SEC.

Pretty sure Alabama proved they deserved to be there. Unlike Ohio State who in 2016 lost 31-0 to Clemson.
Committee made the right choice and because of what happened Bama is going to get even more of a benefit of the doubt in the future if you can imagine that. Hopefully we are the first 2 loss team to get in as well

Look, I hate Bama as much as the next guy, but two top ranked teams had a chance to stop them and Bama came out on top.
I don't like that they won again, but it's hard to say they're undeserving.

UA did not replay the same action for a better result having not played any of the other CFP teams previously, so, no mulligan.
They were an at large team and not the first 4 seed to win it or non-conf champ to make it.

You are the first UF fan I have seen that is unhappy that UGA lost.
One would think you'd be pleased with that or that the situation allowed UF to still claim a share to the most SEC CG titles for at least one more season.

The top four ranked teams should get in. If the playoffs are expanded to 8 teams it should still be based on rankings, not some kind of inclusion because a team is a conference champion.
If an undefeated Bama team beat an undefeated Florida team in the conference championship game and Florida ended up ranked number 3, Do you think that Florida should be left out of the championship series because they did not win their conference?
Consider under that scenario that a number 5 Notre Dame who does not play in a conference gets into the four team championship playoff instead of a number 3 ranked Florida who did not win the conference title.
Maybe you should consider a four team conference championship series if you want a better conference championship outcome. It still should not determine who gets in the playoffs.

Only in the fantasy world of a bama fan would you determine who’s deserving of the last spot than with who has a better loss. Both Wisconsin AND tOSU had a better tesume than Bama. Hell, Bama's best friggin win in the regular season was against mediocre LSU.
